How To Attain Shinier And Healthier Hair?

Everyone seeks to attain healthy and shiny hair, especially, and more so in today's self conscious society, be it the teenagers, or adults; men or women.
Though the purpose is the same for many, but people opt for different genres of treatments according to their personal beliefs and preferences. Some rely on homemade remedies while others take on herbal and ayurvedic alternatives.

HOMEMADE CURES -

One is always however, curious to gain from easily available ingredients from home. For instance, for perfect shine, one can make it a routine to wash the hair with Tea once a week. Similarly, one can apply besan in the hair and wash it subsequently with water drained from cooked rice. For achieving strength and shine together, the paste of a handful of gooseberries for for at least about two hours should be applied on the hair. Besides, a mixture of egg white, two spoons of castor oil and a spoon of glycerin make a wonderful combination. Alternatively, boil the coconut oil with juices of curry leaves, basil, hibiscus flowers and gooseberries and wash within half an hour. One quick catch upon is, just add lemon peel to the 'shikakai' and 'amla' mixture while washing the hair. Aloe vera and essential oils are time tested ingredients for silky shine and stronger hair.

BACK TO BASICS -

Washing the hair daily is not vital. If at all, one does wash the hair frequently, the smart way is to apply the conditioner from the midway of the length of the hair up to the ends. Now, without rinsing it out, apply the shampoo the roots and your scalp. Lather and then rinse out the shampoo and conditioner together.

QUICK TO DO'S

Just apply the mixture of egg whites, lime and papaya or go for an occasional beer rinse. Few old hair secrets include the usage of mayonnaise or vinegar to one's hair. Eggs along with olive oil, honey and white vinegar can show remarkable results. If you are 'AROMA CONSCIOUS', opt for fruity alternatives, as mixing one tablespoon of mayonnaise and nine /ten strawberries.

COMMON BLUNDERS

Eventually, one should be aware of the common mistakes, as washing the hair with extremely hot or cold water, or the folly of applying conditioner at the roots. Also, hot towel treatment to the hair nourishes them. A good time spent on sleeping and eating a well-balanced diet help preserving the natural hair shine. One should refrain from too many or frequent chemical treatments. On the other hand, if one possesses naturally dull hair, never mind to fake it with serums or dyes depending upon one's preference level.
