What are the best home remedies for dry skin?

When your skin becomes too dry, it results in flakiness, scaling, itching, and cracking. Some natural home remedies for dry skin are:

  1. Honey and rose water:

Honey is a natural humectant that locks moisture in your skin and it’s a good anti-inflammatory agent which reduces the harshness of your dry skin.

Description: Add a few drops of rose water into 1 tablespoon of honey and apply the lotion on your dry skin cells and leave it for the entire night. In the morning wash it off with cold water.

  2. Yogurt:

Yogurt is a natural skin exfoliator. It exfoliates and moisturizes your dry skin to make it soft and smooth naturally.

Description:Make a paste with a 1/4th cup of unflavoured yogurt, 2-3 tablespoons of sugar, and honey. Stir well until they all are mixed evenly. Massage the paste on your affected skin for a few minutes and leave it for 5 to 10 mins before washing it off. Use the natural scrub once a week.

  3. Almond Oil:

Almond oil is moisturising in nature that prevents evaporation of moisture from your skin thereby making it smooth and soft.
