Is the sound associated with pain (if yes you might have problem with your joint or with your nerves on the left side of your neck ie cervical spondylitis or spondylosis) if there is no pain with the sound it is normal because the air gets trapped in the joints when ever there is movement there is release of the air which produces the sound.

Sit on an upright bench, like one you'd use for a shoulder press. Holding a dumbbell in your right hand, place your left hand under your left butt cheek and grab the side of the seat. Let your right hand hang down straight by your side and pull your shoulder blades back and together. Now raise your right shoulder up towards your ear-raise it straight up instead of rolling yourshoulder. Hold for a beat at the top, and then return to the start position. Complete a set of 10, and repeat on the othe...more

Movements of the head and eyes are known to be intimately related. Eye position has also been shown to be closely related to the electromyographic activity of dorsal neck muscles. This can lead to muscle tension and stiffness – and as a result, neck pain. Visit near by physiotherapy clinic for proper treatment....more
