Gymming And Sex Drive!
- Exercise favorably impacts the sex drive.
- Studies have shown that men who exercise for 30 - 45 minutes per day, three to five days a week, experience significantly enhanced sexual performance, in terms of increased frequency and quality of sexual experiences.
- Regular exercise improves your stamina and fitness, improves your cardiovascular health, reduces stress levels, helps in keeping your weight under check and maintaining an ideal bmi.
- It improves your body self-image, improves your strength, endurance and flexibility during sex, and increases blood flow to the genital area.
- Moderate and intelligent exercising increases testosterone levels in the body, leading to more frequent erections, increasing sexual urges, better bone density, greater mass and muscular strength.
- This exercise can include lifting weights and strength training but in moderation.
- However, over-exercising can kill your libido.
- It is always better to vary your exercise routine instead of sticking to just the indoor gym.
- Try running outside, hiking, yoga, meditation, swimming etc.
- Do not exercise more than 150 minutes a week (space it out to 30 minutes 5 days a week).
- Try and keep the target heart rate up to 140 beats per minute and not more for at a stretch of not more than 10 - 15 minutes.
- Take breaks while exercising.
- Overdoing it, and using artificial bodybuilding supplements which contain hormones, would affect the libido.
- Make sure you eat a healthy diet containing a good amount of proteins, fresh fruits, green leafy vegetables etc.
