Hello,
epilepsy management is a multi-disciplinary approach. A team of neurologists and neurosurgeons can assess if the condition is possible to cure via offering epilepsy surgery in select cases. Many cases can be controlled reasonably well with medications itself.

Hello,
itss good that you have given a good history of your symptoms. Yes you can take neurokind without any problems. In addition do not bend forwards / do not strain your back, sleep on a hard bed with a mattress and always sit on a dining chair with thin cushion etc rather than sofa and low seating arrangements.

Hello,
there are two problems which need to be addressed. The first is continuation of torleva 5 years after the seizure. In majority of the seizures there is an attempt to withdraw antiepileptic medicine after a seizure free period of three years. Only very few epilepsies requiore medication life long. Pleas consult with all your details to your doctor and if torleva can be stopped it will be better.
The medication you have been prescribed for you are a combination of antidepressant and...more

Hello lybrate-user,
I understand you have epilepsy and are on medication levitracetam how ever I do not understand why you can not undergo hair transplant. Thjere may be some drug interactions with the drugs prescribed at the time of hair transplant but I am sure this can be obviated by careful selection of the medications.

Hello,
it is not clear that whether you were taking medicine when the child was in utero, if the baby is born and is healthy then there is no problem. All antiepileptic drugs have a small chance of in utero damage but epilepsy itself can cause damage to the foetus so generally a low dose to control seizures is used during pregnancy.
