Implant surgery is quick but it takes almost 4 to 5 months for it to integrate with the bone so that waiting period is present for all kinds of implant. There is no such classification of less painful or more painful implant. It is just the surgery discomfort that is well managed by medicines post surgery and you will feel almost normal after 7 days of the surgery.

cost depends on what type of teeth replacement you want, fixed i.e implant or removable one. You can normally chew food with that.

That depends upon the teeth that are remaining. If they are mobile, they will have to go. If they are firm and can be used for anchor or as in overdenture then they should be retained.
Cost is highly variable, that cannot be discussed without actually seeing the patient and even after that varies from dentist to dentist.
