I have seen the details mentioned. Please understand hashimoto's thyroiditis (ht) is an autoimmune phenomenon, that causes hypothyroidism. There is no medication to cure or remove it. In majority of hypothyroidism patients the cause is ht. Hello, thanks for the query. I have seen the details mentioned. Madam, when one is on adequate dosage of levothyroxine then tsh is maintained around 3 to 4 mu/l, t3 & t4 are in normal range. That is considered as controlled hypothyroidism. Another aspect is please do not keep changing the dosage rapidly. It take about 6 weeks to see appropriate change in tsh levels.
