Blocked Nose Health Feed

When I sit in a place my nose gets blocked and when I stand or move it gets clear automatically, and when I sleep on right side my right nostril gets blocked and when I sleep left side my left nostril gets blocked. Is it normal or any deformity? It can be cured by itself or should I use any medication, I am worried it was like this about an year.

It can be because of sinusitis or polyp nose or allergic rhinitis or sore throat or dns or adenoids etc. I need detail of case. In the meanwhile follow this 1. Do saline gargles daily. 2. Whenever possible do steam inhalation also. 3. Cover your nose and mouth with hanky for at least 30 sec when you go in dusty areas also when you go in and out of ac. As our nose is the most sensitive part of our body, when there is temperature difference between two rooms or inside n outside, then if we not protect our nose, it gets affected. 4. Drink hot liquids --hot liquids relieve nasal congestion, prevent dehydration, and soothe the uncomfortably inflamed membranes that line your nose and throat. 5. Sleep with an extra pillow under your head-- elevating your head will help relieve congested nasal passages. If the angle is too awkward, try placing the pillows between the mattress and the box springs to create a more gradual slope. 6. Treat that stuffy nose with warm salt water-- salt-water rinsing helps break nasal congestion, while also removing virus particles and bacteria from your nose. 7. Blow your nose often (and the right way)-- it's important to blow your nose regularly when you have a cold rather than sniffling mucus back into your head. But when you blow hard, pressure can carry germ-carrying phlegm back into your ear passages, causing earache. The best way to blow your nose: press a finger over one nostril while you blow gently to clear the other. Homeopathic treatment has very encouraging results. Consult online.

I have cavity-19, im recently 18, I have no underlying medical conditions, and i’m double vaccinated. I’m on day 2/3 and I can’t sleep because my nose is very congested and it sometimes almost lodges into my throat and I can’t breathe, so I end up almost jolting up every time I try to sleep. I have almost every symptom quite badly and i’ve tried different sleeping positions but none of them are working and I have really bad anxiety and i’m over thinking the worst. What should I do?

I have complete blockage of one of my nose all the time. Sometimes both noses and I have to breathe by mouth at that time. I'm having this issue from 3 months. I also have excessive mucous secretion regardless of external factors. Especially when eating. I'm 24 years old. I have asthma and I feel mucous is very rigid behind my nose and no matter how much I sneeze, it never affects my blockage. --- in summary, i'm having complete nose blockage (1 or 2 noses) all the time. I have to breathe with my mouth a lot of times. Even when I clear my nose of all the mucous my nose is still blocked. I'm also mild asthma patient. please suggest something.

I had nose blocks twice at last month. I then did steam inhalation. Then it was fine. Now, before 3 days I got throat infection and couldn't able to speak. Later I did gargling thrice a day. Voice is better but now I got dry cough. I usually spit when the phlegm comes out but it's very much disturbing at night. Kindly suggest me on this please. I'm gargling every now and then.

You may be having allergic rhinitis sir, also if there is cough and wheezing at midnight there may be asthmatic bronchitis also. To properly diagnose and treat it you need to get a thorough consultation. Meanwhile take tablet allegra m at bed time, it will reduce ua need for inhaler.
