Bad breath medically called halitosis can result from poor dental health habits and may be a sign of other health problems. Bad breath can also be made worse by the types of foods you eat and other unhealthy lifestyle habits.

Main reasons-

  1.  Plaque buildup around teeth and gums
  2. Coating over the tongue
  3. Dry mouth /lack of hydration
  4. Allergies/sinusitis
  5. Acid reflex and improper diet

Tips to stay away from bad breath-

  1. Brush your teeth twice daily
  2. Use dental floss to clean between your teeth
  3. Replace your toothbrush every 3 months
  4. Use a tongue cleaner
  5. Follow a healthy balanced diet
  6. Avoid smoking and alcohol consumption
  7. Drink lots of water
  8. Chew sugar-free gum after eating food to stimulate the flow of saliva
