Bad breath!
Bad breath medically called halitosis can result from poor dental health habits and may be a sign of other health problems. Bad breath can also be made worse by the types of foods you eat and other unhealthy lifestyle habits.
Main reasons-
- Plaque buildup around teeth and gums
- Coating over the tongue
- Dry mouth /lack of hydration
- Allergies/sinusitis
- Acid reflex and improper diet
Tips to stay away from bad breath-
- Brush your teeth twice daily
- Use dental floss to clean between your teeth
- Replace your toothbrush every 3 months
- Use a tongue cleaner
- Follow a healthy balanced diet
- Avoid smoking and alcohol consumption
- Drink lots of water
- Chew sugar-free gum after eating food to stimulate the flow of saliva
