Winters can be harsh if there's nothing warm to soothe your gut as well as nutritious that can help you fight the pathogens ready to attack you. So here, we bring you three recipes that will not help you fight the winters but strengthen your gut.

  1. Nutritious Spinach Soup With A Hint Of Beet Root: Filled with nutritional elements as it is prepared with loads of greens, the spinach soup is quite easy with a beetroot. Simply peel off the beetroot and grind it with a handful of cleansed leaves of spinach. Boil the same for 10-15 minutes with salt as per your taste. Serve hot and enjoy the goodness of green leafy vegetables in a tasteful way.
     
  2. Warm Glass Of Ajwain Brewed With Rock Salt: For a boosted digestion and metabolic activity, it is important that we regularly take Ajwain in some form or the other. Ideally, go ahead with a scoop full of Ajwain and rock salt as per your taste. You can also use it to hydrate yourself in the morning or keep it with yourself whenever you are struggling with digestive issues.
     
  3. Tomato Soup With A Scoop Of Jaggery: When in winters, nothing can be as tangy and nutritious as a tomato soup. Peel off the tomatoes by boiling them for a few minutes and grind them to a fine pulp. Boil with the spices and condiments if your taste. Add a few scoops of jaggery to aid your digestion and serve hot with crunchy breadsticks.
