I seem to have developed a bump near my vagina (not on it). My periods has not happened and has been a week since my date. Should I be worried? What does this bump mean? I am an active person, have not had sexual intercourse with anyone and have never had my periods delayed before.

Menses can be missed either because of hormonal changes or even stress or even if you have put on some weight in recent times then also menses can be missed. All these problems are temporary and menses will come on its own. You can wait for another 30 days before you can take tablet deviry to get menses. That vaginal bump is most likely to be bartholin cyst. Abscess more likely if there is pain. This need urgent attention by a gynecologist.

Its a sebacious cyst. You should improve your diet. Avoid=besan, bekary itoms, potato, most important avoid pungent -bitter test food do s=eat mung dal and rice for three days. After that take your regular meal. Eat pomegranate ayurveda mention blood purification by blood letting. So your near by ayurvedic doctor consult you visit them and ask for blood letting. You will get good result.

These are side effects of ipill available routinely to help women in emergency but not to be abused as a routine medicine. Get pregnancy test done. Tons of hormones present in ipill are stored in liver and it will take few days for side effects to be over. Dear girl you are just 18, focus on studies, and if you have to take pills, take low dose oral tabs.

Lustrous, beautiful and healthy hair is a result of a healthy body and a healthy diet Foods high in protein are soy, tofu, dairy products like milk, curd, paneer, cheese, nuts, oilseeds, beans and pulses. Lifestyle changes 1. Along with a healthy hair diet it is important that you exercise properly as it will ensure that there is proper blood flow to your scalp and will help in the growth of hair.  2. Treat your hair delicately. Avoid unnecessary brushing, combing or handling. Use a soft, round bristles brush.  3. Have a weekly scalp massage to provide stimulation to the hair follicles. 4. Have regular trims to eliminate split ends and allow the hair to look and feel healthier. 5. Get plenty of rest and sleep to allow your body to grow hair. Follow the diet plan given below as a starting point for healthy and lustrous hair. Breakfast  Skim milk / soy milk Whole grain bread or toast or poha or breakfast cereal or sprout Bowl of fresh fruit Morning snack Fresh vegetable juice like carrot or cucumber juice Handful of nuts like walnuts, soaked almonds, raisins, dates Lunch Fresh veg. You need to plan your meals well cause you have to lose a lot of weight. Eat smaller meals at frequent intervals. Have an early dinner. Avoid long gaps between meals and/or heavy meals. Avoid outside, junk foods. Remember that the body gets used to the routine of diet and/or exercise hence you might plateau and thats when you might need to take professional help. Try to indulge in some form of exercise at least 3-4 times a week.

Can Lower Back Pain Be Cured With Physiotherapy?

Lower back pains may underline a host of diseases, some of the most distinctive being the degeneration of lumbar disc and strain of back muscles. If left unattended, these acute durations of severe pain can lead to further complications, beyond the scope of both active and passive physical treatment regimes. Hence, it is always recommended to attend to these minuscule symptoms as soon as they are detected.

How physiotherapy works wonders in lower back pains:

  1. Physiotherapy is recommended when lower back pains are frequent, or stretch for days at a time. Most medical literatures, which shower their unanimous support in favour of physiotherapy for back pain, make note that physiotherapy relieves pain, as well as improves the functions, which are most likely to be affected by this disorder.
  2. Pain emanating, following a surgery, is recognized as one of the most significant aspects where benefits of physiotherapy are more visible. Generally, patients are advised to undergo physiotherapy sessions after surgical procedures irrespective of age and gender, unless the move is contraindicated in specific cases.
  3. Muscular spasms and muscle shrinking is a highly familiar phenomenon observed in individuals who are relatively less active. Muscle shrinking can often be attributed to very low usage of certain muscles, while muscle spasm can occur when neurons at the affected muscles are irritated. Physiotherapy is observed as both the first line as well as the second line of treatment regimen in such occurrences; a routine for gradual and slow stretching is recommended by physiotherapists involving the muscles of legs, hips, abdomen and lower back, based on their intensity of pain.
  4. Advanced stages of a physiotherapy treatment regime upgrade the simple stretching exercises to more rigorous ones like specific stabilizing drills, exercises involving balancing machines and/or exercise balls. This aspect of physiotherapy caters to the secondary spine muscles of the human body.
  5. The area of the body considered to be the core of lower back pain (lower back muscles and muscles of abdomen) requires more than just stretching or exercises involving machines. Workout focused on these core areas are based on a complex set of exercises, which may have to be improvised such that the aforementioned muscles absorb the maximum shock.
  6. In addition to these conventional exercises, which are based on applications of gravity, some centres offer a different environment for individuals who are unable to perform activities in normal conditions. The concept of aquatic pools addresses the issue, and makes exercising quite an easy feat for the physically challenged individuals. Dear lybrate user avoid shampoos and perfumed hair oils ,use shika powder for hair wash and pure oils for massaging ,eat more veggies and whole fruits ,drink plenty of water ,since hairfall is just not a superficial problem but has deep internal causes it needs an internal medicinal treatmemt for cure
