My 1 year old son having second time pacemaker surgery. Is there any risk in the surgery.

My 1 year old son having second time pacemaker surgery. Is there any risk in the surgery.
It is not natural for a child of age 1 to have a pacemaker; and yes, there is always a risk of a second surgery for the same cause. Please visit a super-specialty heart center for children before you take this decision. AIIMS will assist you in understanding your options better. If you give all details, they will see your son early also. God bless.

Eating Right

'when the diet is wrong medicine is of no use. When diet is correct medicine is of no need'
Taking heavy meals in short durations without earlier meals properly digested produces toxins.
Kala viruddha (time against): intake of cold and dry substances in winter, pungent and hot substances in summer.
The combination of fruit salad, milk and banana should be avoided.
Using yogurt with milk, fish with milk, achar (pickle) with milk, honey with ghee (butter) are some virudha ahara (incompetent food) if taken together, they produce a lot of toxins in our body.

Drinking buttermilk is excellent as it is easily digestible, kindles hunger, instigates vata and kapha and cures dropsy, haemorrhoids, enlargement of the abdomen, abdominal tumour, duodenal diseases, dysuria, enlargement of spleen, loss of appetite, and anaemia.

One of my roommate is suffering from TB from last 2 months and we are living in the same room. Is there any chance that I am infected from TB?

MD COMMUNITY MEDICINE , MBBS
Preventive Medicine Specialist, Bangalore
Tuberculosis bacteria is everywhere in the air coughed up by people who are infected. Compared to people who don't have a roommate with Tb, you are at more risk of getting the exposure. If he covers himself while coughing or sneezing, the risk reduces. Within one month of starting treatment, his infectivity reduces. Our immune system will be protecting us from getting infected. If your immune system is down, you are higher chances of getting the disease provided there is infected agents surrounding you. Good diet, sleep and exercise will help you.

Hello- Masturbation is just like any other addiction which people are getting used to these days. It leads towards physical changes like premature ejaculation, bending and thinning of penis, erectile dysfunction, sexual avulsion, low sperm count, immunity loss, infertility and impotency. Psychological changes include loss of concentration, nervousness, confidence loss, memory loss, corruption of thoughts with sexual feelings. - Excessive masturbation lead towards semen loss. Semen is the utmost precious thing in the body which is responsible for internal immunity and new tissue production inside body. The whole life revolves around semen (according to ayurveda), so in any circumstances it can not be wasted. - Only Ayurveda exposed masturbation as a threat towards you sexual life so only Ayurveda has an answer to that.

Hello- Excessive masturbation can cause serious damage to penis in various ways, even though masturbation or hand practice is considered as safe alternate way of satisfying sexual desires. To grow beard you should consume food items which can increase testosterone hormones in the body.
