Back exercises. Many people go to physiotherapists with back pain. Here are two exercises that help to relieve pain and reduce stiffness in the back: •Dear, 1. Lie on your back with both of your legs straight. In this position, bring your left knee up close to your chest. Hold this position for 10 seconds. Return your leg to the straight position. Repeat with the right leg. •2. Stand up with your arms on your side. Bend to the left side while slowly sliding your left hand down your left leg. Come back up slowly and relax. Repeat with the right side of your body.

Afterwards take hot fomentation for 10 min. 2) start natural calcium supplement. 3) do regular stretching exercise 4) in yoga do bhujangasan, halasan & suryanamaskar. Life-style correction 1) correct your sitting posture. 2) take small pillow or back rest for lower back. 3) foot should rest to floor easily. 4) take small break after 1 hr & walk few steps. 5) do neck & upper back extension, give feedback after 4 days. Hi lybrate-user it is to do with the postion in which you r sitting constanly flexion of neck while studying try to avoid that use hot water bag therapy get up after every hr or so have good amt of water salads and proper amt of food.

Hi sir. from the last two months suffering from back pain, suddenly last week the pain got increased and for the last one left side lower got so much of paining. So, can you please suggest me some recovery ideas.

Kindly show me digital x rays of ls spine. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation. Ibuprofen 200mg od & sos x 5days bio d3 max 1tab od x10 do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. Do reply back for detailed treatment plan. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

Hi lybrate-user Spine pain is very cruciating so we always feel disturbed throughout the day. You can send MRI reports to me so that I can have complete picture of your spine. Ayurveda and Panchakarma helps a lot in such cases. Back muscle strengthening is important to distribute the load over spine. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day. Quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain.

Mr. Lybrate-user, continuous posture of any will build pressure over that paeticular part like the spine also. You try to change posture while studying&if possible lean to soft back/use any pillow, r keep a small cushion under the neck. Try to change postures often. Practice few asanas in yoga which help to relieve the back pain&tone up the spine.&also practice breathing exercises n pranayama which will relieve you from stress. Try to lie on back without pillow while sleeping.

Hello dear according to your condition you do hot fermentation daily three times in a day with duration of 15 min. Do full stretches along with breathing hold it for 15 sec then release sure you feel better in 2, 3 days.

If the leg pain is on walking, then it needs evaluation. Get a arterial and venous doppler done for the leg. It will give an idea about the legs circulation & whether it can be managed with medicines or intervention.

Knee advice. Avoid sitting cross legged. Avoid squatting- quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day. Sports taping- stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area contrast fomentation (hot and cold).

Pain could be because of bony spurs in the heel. Get x-ray done. And wear heel cushions in the shoes, take ultrasound therapy and contrast bath in physiotherapy. It helps along with foot ankle ex's.

Hi I can understand your problem. # relax & stay positive. # take hot and cold foementation. # learn posture care exercise. # use lumber support. # take break every 20 minutes. # do strengthening exercise of back and core muscles not all back pains are same.
