We don't call it as bed rest. U r allowed to walk partial wt bearing on operated leg. Once your x-rays show signs of healing adequately, you will be allowed to walk full wt bearing usually around 3 months TKS.

I had an accident that fractured my tibia and. Fibula. I was operated on 3rd august. And the Dr. Fixed a titanium road inside. Its over 50 days now. I was asked to take 6 week bed rest. Now on 22th sept. Was my check up day nd Dr. Advised me another, 45 days bed rest. And asked me to use my broken leg while walking with less pressure. I am feared. What precautions or exercise should I take? Can I fold my leg while sleeping.

I delivered a baby through emergency c section due to on Feb 15 2017. I had taken epidural too to ease my pain but had felt the pain redirected to my left thigh. 6 months later now, I had gone for classical dance and started noticing slight pain in my left knee. After using pain reliever balm. It goes and comes back again. Could it be a muscle pull or is it something serious. Please help.

You might have hamstring spasm. Your MRI is pretty normal. It says it has some excess fluid in knee. Recovery will be natural. If possible do cycling for 20 min tks.

Good morning doctors. My age 36 year, weight 57 kg. From last 2 month l am Suffering with knee pain (back side) in left leg (I feel this pain only when I seat for latrine (at Indian style), when I stand up after 5-10 minutes I feel more pain intensity which goes after 5 minutes. Also I feel stiffness at back side (very little).
MRI done and findings are" mild synovial effusion" I want to know the following:
-What is the meaning of report in simple language.
-is it recover naturally or not? Will l face this problem long life. -Is this problems are treatable? What treatment/medicines are required to cure "synovial effusion" and how much long time.
-What steps/precautions I should follow with this problem to avoid further harmful effects.
