I am 26 year old and my weight is 98 kg. I am addicted of beer. If I take only one cane beer then how can I reduce my weight?

After drinking beer you stop heavy food and more oily foods. That causes fat. Any queries consult me. 7-8 mint leaves in one cup of water for 20-30 min and let it cool add 1 teaspoon honey to and a pinch of black pepper to the cooled mint water, have this 2-3 times a day. And morning walk is compulsory. And avoid non veg and more fatty and oily foods.

To gain weight you should eat more calories than you burn. Plus not only you have to eat calorie dense food but you have to keep in mind that what you are eating is healthy too. In the process of weight gain you do not want to put weight in an uneven manner and look unhealthy rather than looking bright and healthy. Start exercising. Start working out if you are not active. The biggest myth that prevails now a days is that thin people do not need to work out. This is wrong. When you challenge your body, it is forced to grow. But this growth can only be possible if you are eating enough food to let the body absorb and grow in size and muscles. Eat Healthy. Stop drinking and smoking too much if you are indulged in it. Limit your intake of junk food and any form of sugar. Do not at all starve yourself. Make it a habit to eat something healthy every 3 hours. This means you have to eat 6 small meals in a day. Your daily food intake should ideally consist of nuts, dry fruits, seeds, almonds, walnuts, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, figs, dates and raisins. They are full of healthy fats needed by a human body. Consume good amount of fruits and vegetables. Bananas, apples, pomegranate, green leafy vegetables. Fruits and vegetables helps in absorption of food in the body and together, completes your daily nutrition need. Eat whole grains. Try to have multi grains spread throughout the day. Wheat, brown rice, oats, bajra, daliya etc should be taken in multiple meals in a day. Supplementation. You can supplement your diet with good quality multi-vitamin capsules. If you are lacking in protein, you can buy a high quality whey protein and have it with banana shake twice a day. Chana and moong which are full of protein and nutrients. Increase protein intake. Protein proves to be the most essential nutrient when it comes down to gaining strength or building muscle. Therefore, consume all types of protein from both veg and non veg food items. Chana and moong which are full of protein and nutrients. Try to be patient while you are on the process of weight gain. Results take time to show. Just follow the regimen of weight gain religiously and you will soon start seeing the results.

Scrub your face once in two days with a good scrub. St. Ives scrub or body shop scrubs are good. Apply a good face pack. The face pack of gram flour, yogurt and turmeric. Daily wash your face with AHA glow, use tea tree toner after that. Apply sunscreen daily.

I have got 3 questions please if you can answer me individually. Ist question: Does sugar in fruit like bananas or any other fruit cause weight gain? 2nd question: is banana or any other sweet fruit harmful for diabetic patients? 3rd question: I have a tendency to eat fruits like bananas (6 banana/day)-am I at risk of developing conditions like hyperglycemia (high sugar) or hyperkalemia?

May I answer your questions one by one. 1) ALL food stuffs, including fruits contain sugar. If by "weight gain" you mean overweight, YES... theoretically, the sugar in fruits can cause weight gain. 2) All fruits are NOT equal in terms of the quality & quantity of sugars they contain. Therefore, some fruits are OK, while some are not. 3) Bananas, taken as such (whole), in reasonable quantities will NOT cause diabetes (if that is what you mean) or hyperkalemia. But 6 bananas/ day is NOT reasonable for a person who takes other food stuffs too!!!

Mr. Lybrate-user. You are weighing more for your age and height and may be the reason for early onset of diabetes at an age of 24. Obesity causes insulin resistance, so you need to concentrate more on your weight reduction with some physical activity. In allopathy you need to take meds to control diabetes. To bring sugar levels to normal. 2/3of the sugar levels should be controlled by physical activity and for remaining 1/3 you need to take medication. This usually lessens the long term complications of the diabetes, reduced dose of the drugs and prevent early drug resistance. You need regular physician's care for your present health status. To gain some weight, you need to eat healthy. Take small meals but eat something solid every 2 hours. 1. Take at least two fruits per day and one glass fruit juice. 2. Take one peanut butter/cheese sandwich daily. 3. Eat 20 almonds & 5 khajoor daily 4. Drink full cream milk, curd, lassi, chikoo shakes etc. 5. If your are non veg you can have more eggs, chicken, fish. 6. Dals have good protien. Have more dals, rajma, kabuli chana, soya beans etc. 7. Avoid junk food and colas. Avoid chips and other namkeen. 8. No need for any extra supplements. Natural diet is best. 9. Go for regular walks / exercise / do yoga. Sleep well. 10. Take deworming tablets every six month. Feel confident about yourself and be positive.

1. Get up every 20 mins take walk and come back 2. Sit to study with appropriate posture 3. Stand up stretch your back backwards and sit again 4. Use hot pack for pain relief 5.
