You need not worry about the weight. Please follow a healthy lifestyle ( eat only healthy food and avoid outside food ). Eat fruits and vegetables everyday . Exercise every day so that the body remains strong and fit. Please do go for a routine medical examination once a year and ensure that you are healthy.

Yes, You can try to achieve your maximum genetic potential. Short heightedness can be due to heredity reasons (genetics), lack of proper nutrition: lacking in essential vitamins and minerals, substance abuse, lack of sufficient physical activity, endocrinal/hormonal problems, mostly related to hypofunctional pituitary gland. Also, problems with bone formation and calcification are responsible for shorter stature and built. Human Growth Hormone (HGH) also plays a determining part. HGH is secreted by pituitary gland and it is directly connected to how long your bones and cartilages grow. So, I am listing some nutritional and lifestyle recommendation for you: ASHWAGANDHA: Ashwagandha can indirectly influence the release of HGH and helps the body in overall development. Take 1 tablespoon of Ashwagandha powder with a glass of warm milk (preferably with 1 tablespoon of shakkar) at night before going to bed. OTHER HERBS: You can also try some other beneficial herbs like shilajit, shatavari, guduchi, amla, and guggul. BALANCED DIET: Eat a High protein diet with chicken breasts and chicken soup, Bone broth, fish, eggs, Milk and other dairy products. Also, eat all seasonal fruits and vegetables (especially broccoli, spinach and turnips). WATER: Drink plenty of water (at least 5 litres) every day to keep yourself hydrated and to promote bone and muscle growth. Also drink 3 cups of green tea every day. CALCIUM: Calcium is a height booster as your bones are primarily made of calcium. Take a calcium supplement with Vitamin D, magnesium and zinc (at night). MULTI-VITAMIN: Also, taking a high quality multi-vitamin for a month or two helps to provide other essential nutrients to your body for overall development. EXERCISE: Exercise is probably the most important factor. You must give your body a stimulus (or reason) to grow. Do cycling, running, sprinting, Yoga, and meditation. Also, do skipping for at least 20 minutes each day in an open area. STRETCHING: Stretching helps lengthening your muscles (and ultimately bones) and prevents your body from injuries. Some good stretching exercises to do are toe touch, pelvic stretch, cobra stretch, triangle pose, mountain pose, sun salutation (surya namaskar), mountain pose and hanging from the bar. PROPER SLEEP: Get at least 8 hours of undisturbed sleep every night. Also, try to go to bed before 10 pm. Hope this helps.

If you want to do it at home, use hair removal creams, trimmer or epilator. At salon, you can get them waxed.

I'm a 21 years old guy, studying in college. I have difficulty in maintaining my concentration on the work. I loose my interest very soon and then find it difficult to regain. Please Help.

CONCENTRATION TIPS Here’s some tips to get into a state of deep concentration where work / or studies flow easily so that you can do well in examinations/ and or do your work well. 1) Cut Off the Noise Getting into a state of concentration can take at least fifteen minutes. If you are getting distracted every five, you can’t possibly focus entirely on your work. Request that people don’t interrupt you when working on a big project. If you are required to answer phones and drop-in’s immediately, schedule work when the office is less busy. 2) Structure Your Environment The place you work can have an impact on your ability to focus. Try to locate yourself so you are facing potential distractions such as doors, phones or windows. This way you can take a glance to assess sounds that would otherwise break your focus. 3) Clarify Objectives Know what your goal is clearly before you start. If you aren’t sure what the end result is, the confusion will make it impossible to focus. 4) Divide Blobs . If you have a large project that needs work, clearly identify a path that you will use to get started working on it. If the sequence of actions isn’t obvious, it will be difficult to concentrate. Taking a few minutes to plan not only your end result, but the order you will complete any steps, can save hours in wasted thinking. 5) Know the Rules Get clear on what the guidelines are for the task ahead. What level of quality do you need? What standards do you need to follow? What constraints are there? If the rules aren’t clear from the outset, you will slip out of concentration as you ponder them later. 6) Set a Deadline Deadlines have both advantages and disadvantages when trying to force concentration. A deadline can make it easier to forget the non-essential and speed up your working time. If you give yourself only an hour to design a logo, you will keep it simple and avoid fiddling with extravagant designs. Time limits have disadvantages when they cause you to worry about the time you have left instead of the task itself. 7) Break down Roadblocks Roadblocks occur whenever you hit a tricky problem in your work. This can happen when you run out of ideas or your focus wavers. Break down roadblocks by brainstorming or planning on a piece of paper. Writing out your thought processes can keep you focused even if you might become frustrated. 8) Isolate Yourself Become a hermit and stay away from other people if you want to get work done. Unless your work is based on other people they will only break your focus. Create a private space and refuse to talk to anyone until your work is finished. Put a sign on your door to steer away drop-ins and don’t answer your phone. 9) Healthy Body, Sharper Mind What you put into your body affects the way you concentrate. Nobody would expect peak performance if they showed up drunk to work. But if you allow yourself to get chronic sleep deprivation, overuse stimulants like caffeine or eat dense, fatty foods your concentration will suffer. Try to cut out one of your unhealthy habits for just thirty days to see if there is a difference in your energy levels. I’ve found even small steps can create dramatic changes in my ability to focus. 10) Be Patient Before I write an article, I often sit at my desk for a fifteen or twenty minutes before I put finger on the keyboard. During this time I feel a strong urge to leave or do something else. But I know that if I am patient, I’ll stumble upon an idea to write about and enter a state of flow. Without a little patience, you can’t take advantage of flow when it rushed through you. If you need strong concentration I recommend periods of 90-120 minutes. Any less than that and you will waste too much time getting started before the flow can continue. More than this is possible to sustain focus, but you will probably benefit from a quick break. These are the general guidelines for concentration, studying well or doing your job. Regards.

You can exercise even at Office. Every one hour get up from seat and walk stairs for five minutes. Walk to market. Walk to home. Instead of taking rickshaw or auto walk wherever possible. If you are not getting specific time for exercise then use whatever opportunities available otherwise. Avoid lifts and take stairs everywhere. AS for DIET... You can reduce fried stuff. parathas.. puris.. etc. Cut down on all Colas, sugars, sweets.. Drink a glass of water every hour. Eat 3 fruits daily. Eat two cucumbers daily. Find replacements for high calorie foods and switch to simple diet.

Dear lybrate user with the limited amount of information provided it appears that you are concerned about your fathers diabetic status. It could had been better had you provided us with fasting sugars, hba1c status along with complete medication list for better understanding of his situation. He appears to be insulin deficient so will need that for now. Regular exercise, diet and medication as advised is the key to successful treatment of diabetes. He will also need test on regular basis for management of his condition. Hope this solves your query. Any more concern then kindly feel free to revert.

Hi, I'm 22 years old and I'm a astrophysics research student. I also do mma and boxing, and I'm trying to get back in shape after a glycomet surgery in the chest. (It was a benign tumour.) Anyways, the query is: my coach urges me to take whey protein, and is it ok to consume it? And if so which version of it should I take (like 100% concentrate etc.).

Whey protein can be consumed. If you have lactose intolerance or you have digestion problems when you consume milk then I would suggest you to take whey isolate since it is easier to digest. But if there is no problem with digestion you can have normal whey from a good brand and please do check it's genuine or not. Other than this maintain a well balanced diet. Don't just depend on whey for your protein intake. For a personalised diet plan you can consult with me online
