Replace your missing tooth right away

Ask Free Question
Replace your missing tooth right away.

Missing teeth might look great in kids but not in adults.
If your tooth is missing it can lead to a whole lot of problems like cavities in the adjacent teeth, functional & esthetic impairement.
Also if a tooth is missing, the adjacent teeth start to drift in order to close the gap. Moreover the upper tooth starts drifting downwards if empty space is present & vice a versa. All this movement leads to sensitivity due to root exposure in the adjacent teeth or upper or lower teeth.
Hence it is very important to replace a tooth as soon as it is lost.
We can replace the tooth/teeth in 3 ways:
1. Removable Partial Denture
2. Bridge formation
3. Implant

When I wake up in the morning my mouth is very dry,may i request to inform me reason & remedy,( Age 72 years).

Ask Free Question
Hi Sir Dry mouth can be caused as a side effect of many medicines or other infections. Also during night time since the mouth is closed there is even less secretion of saliva hence causing dry mouth. Remedy is that you try to sip water & other liquids at short intervals. Also maintain proper brushing esp before going to bed is important. You can also chew sugarless gums to increase the flow of saliva.

I really have a bad breath in the morning and sometimes even after the long hours like 4 or five hours after i do brush. What should be done? Please advise?

Ask Free Question
Hi Bad breath is caused by dirty teeth, so get a general check up of teeth done. It can also be due to gastric problems as well. Also constant dry mouth may lead to the same esp in the night time when we are sleeping. You should brush your teeth at night before going to bed as the saliva secretion is least at that time. You can use mouthwashes available in the market.

Sensitivity Problem What to do?

Ask Free Question
Hi, use any sensitive toothpaste like thermoseal RA. Apply it with finger on all teeth esp the sensitive ones, leave it for 5 minutes & then brush with the same. Also you should get your teeth screened for any cuts or abrasions due to hard brushing as they can also cause sensitivity in teeth.

Sugarless Chewing Gums are good for teeth. Not only they neutralize the acid in the mouth but also helps to stimulate the saliva flow (hence reduces chances of cavities). They should be avoided in case of any jaw pain or TMJ disorders.

MY QUESTION SUBJECTED TO DENTIST. I WANT TO POLISH AND LEVELING MY TWO TEETH.AND I HAVE A TWO TEETH ITS VERY SHARP.WHICH KIND OF TREATMENT IS REQUIRED FOR THIS TWO TEETH.

Ask Free Question
Hi for your sharp tooth, we can do grinding to an extent by checking the amount of enamel present. Also we need to know the cause of the sharpness. Might be acidity is one. For leveling of the teeth we need to check the condition of the tooth, if you can send us a picture it will be clearer. Sensitivity in teeth. Please help.

Ask Free Question
Hi, Sensitivity in teeth is a major problem that the people are facing these days especially in winters. You can use a sensitive toothpaste by applying it directly on all your teeth with your finger (esp the ones which are more sensitive), leave it for five minutes & then brush with the same. But knowing the cause of sensitivity is very important. You should consult your dentist for any cuts or abrasions onto the tooth surface which are leading to sensitivity.
