Malrotation or intestinal Malrotation is a medical condition in which there is a blockage of the digestive tract resulting in impaired passage of food. Some malrotations are present at birth, while some others are developed due to hernias, abnormal scar tissue or inflammatory bowel disease. Malrotation is nothing but the twisting of the intestines. Symptoms are:
• Abdominal cramps
• Distended abdomen
• Blood and mucus in stools
• Recurrent abdominal pain
