Apply a warm compress on the stye for ten minutes four times per day. The compression and heat will assist in loosening of blockages in the oil gland and draining the stye, thus healing the condition. It the stye is large, then ophthalmologist will drain the infected fluid by a minor surgery and he will recommend an antibiotic cream for the eyelids so as to prevent stye reoccurring in future.
