An adrenal tumor can cause excess production of endocrine. This tumor is a neoplasm (abnormal tissue growth that may be cancerous), which is benign in nature. This type of cancer, although rarely found, is one of the most aggressive forms of cancers that is known to man. Smoking, aging, and a family history of this condition can be attributed as causes. Some of the apparent symptoms are weight gain in and around the stomach, excessive thirst followed by frequent urination and depression. This condition can arise in both children and middle-aged adults.
HOW IS ADRENAL MASSES DIAGNOSED?
Certain patients may not experience any symptoms whatsoever, while some of them may show visible signs of adrenal masses.
