I'm 28 years old male. I have suffered from pain in my left hand all night fallowed by pain in the chest, and also headache on the left side. I consulted a neurologist in general. I was advised a brain scan and ecg. Reports are normal. She said it was gas problem. But I heard ecg can not detect minor abnormalities and it is better to have a echo. Is this true. Whenever I'm taking medication for gas my pain is getting subsided but it is not of permanent relief. Should I get an echo now. Or how can I prevent by gas problem permanently.

If this has problem is regular to you then you should make some changes in your eating habits. Yes the gas trouble can present a pain like Heart attack pain. So if Dr. has advised them go for echo otherwise no need. Avoid following food items-1.Bekary foods, Potato items, Bringle,Fermented food item 2.Try not to eat inbetween your lunch and dinner —if you feel hungry then take seasonal fruit 3.Drink luke warm water whenever you feel thirsty sip by sip 4.Do not eat your dinner after 8 pm in night it should be prior and don’t eat your food in hurry 5.Take Hingwasthak churna 1/4tsp after food with Luke warm water 6.Take Triphala churna -1/4tsp with luke warm water at the time of sleeping Follow this for a month and let me know.

I had hypothyroidism since few years so was taking 100 mg tablet since my pregnancy and did not get tested after delivery. So got my thyroid test done. T3=1.18 T4=10.4 and TSH is 0.03. If you are clinically doing well and there is no increase in resting heart rate, don't be in a hurry to decrease dose of Thyroid meds. Check your free T3 levels and discuss the same with your treating doctor. He/she will decide about dose modulation.

Headaches can occur due to a lot of reasons. Initially, you can avoid the reason that's giving you a headache, like sunlight/loud noise/ smoke or pollution/ stress. If the pain is severe and you can't tolerate it, an immediate dose of paracetamol (650) relieves the pain. But best thing would be to see a doctor face to face, find out the reason and get cured.

Hi Lybrate user weight loss can be acheived if you to need to follow a proper diet and physical activity weight loss tips 1. Avoid much outside food, fried food and junk food. 2.Avoid papad, pickles, Coconut-peanut chutney. 3.Can eat homemade Paneer sabji, sandwich, paratha. 4.Opt for Brown bread, low fat cheese, skimmed milk, roasted food items. 5.Use skimmed milk in food items as much as possible, sprinkle over cooked sabji and add in milk, soups as thickening agent. Dear lybrate-user, first rule to reduce pigmentation is a good sunscreen. Please select one from reputed company which is gives you protection from both uva and uvb protection. There are lot of skin lightening creams available which should be used under doctors supervision as unsupervised application can lead to severe skin damage. You can apply lemon mixed with water to begin with and then undiluted fresh lime as skin gets used to. But please remember most important is sun protection for pigmentation.

Reduce the amount of roti to 1 breakfast, 2 lunch n 1 for dinner. 2 should go in for 2 -3 eggs in a day. Include more salads n fruits in diet. 12-15 glasses of water sprouts daily once.
