What are the most common advantages of laparoscopic surgery?

While conventional surgery required cutting open the entire area (for instance, abdomen) to perform surgery, laparoscopic surgery is minimally invasive. A few small incisions are made to gain adequate visibility and access to the surgical site. The patient does not have to stay in the hospital for a prolonged period, and postop recovery is also faster and better with this.
