Yes, it's very high. Start medicines asap. With medicines you can do the following-- stop smoking (if you smoke). Smoking lowers your hdl, (“good”) cholesterol level. Change the way you eat. Low-fat, low-cholesterol eating benefits all your lipid levels. Lose weight if necessary. Maintain healthy lifestyle start exercising. Nuts, such as almonds, pistachios, and walnuts, contain high amounts of unsaturated fat or “good” fats, which increase high-density lipoprotein (hdl) and lower low-density lipoprotein (ldl). Also follow this 1. Don't take tea empty stomach. Eat something like a banana (if you are not diabetic) or any seasonal fruit or soaked almonds and a glass of water first thing in the morning (within 10 mins of waking up). No only biscuits or rusk will not do. 2. Don't overeat 3. Take your breakfast every day. Don't skip it. U can eat whatever your mother or grandparent eat in bfast. I mean to say whatever is your traditional food. If Punjabi eat paratha, if belongs to south then take idli/ dosa etc. 4. Have light meals every 2 hours (in addition to your breakfast, lunch n dinner) e.g. Nariyal paani, chaach, a handful of dry fruits, a handful of peanuts, any fresh n seasonal fruit, a cup of curd/milk etc 5. Finish your dinner at least 2 hours before going to sleep. 6. Maintain active life style 7. Avoid fast foods, spicy n fried foods, carbonated beverages 8. Take a lot of green vegetables n fruit. 9. Drink lot of water. 10. Everyday preferably sleep on same time 11. Curd is good for u.Exercise in the form of yoga, cycling, swimming, gym, walking etc. Now about point no. You should join a gym for weight training. Do it 2-3 times a week with at least 48 hours in between 2 sessions. Other days you can do cardio exercises. For more details you can consult me.

Hello, I am 22 years old, male, my weight is 63 kg, height 163 cm and i'm from romania. I wanted to know if it normal to have the level of total testosterone of 11.58 nmol/l (333.99 ng/dl) at my age. The free testosterone is 13.04 pg/ml. I want to mention that during this period I come back after a rather severe depression. And in the last few years I had some depressions for somewhat trivial reason. I have the cholesterol increased to 250.3 mg / dl and I have gained weight. This time I was helped out of depression by antipsychotic (zyprexa) and antidepressant (cipralex) medication. When I started taking this medication my weight was 50 kg and now i'm 63. My libido is almost non-existent and I my boobs started to grow a little. I don't know if my depression caused the low t or the low t caused my depression.

Your testosterone level is low, total cholesterol is high. It could be that your low testosterone and high cholesterol levels are a result of being depressed which is more likely considering your lifestyle that becomes when you are depressed than the other way around. Nevertheless, initiating treating for the low testosterone level as well as the high cholesterol level would be helpful. Look forward to hearing from you. If you feel depressed, it's best to do something about it — depression doesn't just go away on its own. In addition to getting help from a doctor or therapist, here are 5 things you can do to feel better. And if these are not useful you need antidepressants 1.Exercise. Take a 15- to 30-minute brisk walk every day — or dance, jog, or bike if you prefer. People who are depressed may not feel much like being active. In addition to getting aerobic exercise, some yoga poses can help relieve feelings of depression. Two other aspects of yoga — breathing exercises and meditation — can also help people with depression feel better. 2.Nurture yourself with good nutrition. Depression can affect appetite. One person may not feel like eating at all, but another might overeat. Proper nutrition can influence a person's mood and energy. So eat plenty of fruits and vegetables and get regular meals (even if you don't feel hungry, try to eat something light, like a piece of fruit, to keep you going). 3.Identify troubles, but don't dwell on them. Try to identify any situations that have contributed to your depression. When you know what's got you feeling blue and why to talk about it with a caring friend. Talking is a way to release the feelings and to receive some understanding. 4. Express yourself. With depression, a person's creativity and sense of fun may seem blocked. Exercise your imagination (painting, drawing, doodling, sewing, writing, dancing, composing music, etc.) and you do not only get those creative juices flowing, but you also loosen up some positive emotions. Take time to play with a friend or a pet, or do something fun for yourself. Find something to laugh about — a funny movie, perhaps. Laughter helps lighten your mood. 5. Try to notice good things. Depression affects a person's thoughts, making everything seem dismal, negative, and hopeless. If depression has you noticing only the negative, make an effort to notice the good things in life. Try to notice one thing, then try to think of one more. Consider your strengths, gifts, or blessings. Most of all, don't forget to be patient with yourself. Depression takes time to heal. It's not easy to say exactly what causes depression and anxiety – it's different for everyone. Sometimes a difficult time in you or your mates' life can set off depression or anxiety, sometimes it's caused by a combination of things that have built up over time and sometimes, there's just no obvious cause at all. I am 42 years old. I have been a hour patient and taking zyloric 300 mg continuously from the past 3 months. However, since last 15-20 days, I have been suffering from a burning sensation on top of my right feet. No problem on the heel. When I press my feet, I don't get any burning sensation or pain. But, when I try stretching my ankle I get a pain on the ankle joint. If I rub my heels for cleaning the skin, the upper part of the feet feels like rubbing against some wound. On the advise of my gout doc, I checked with a neurologist. He did some test and found nothing wrong with my nerves. He told me that it could be due to wearing tight shoes and gave me medication to reduce nerve irritation. Since last 10 days I am having his medicine. But, till now I haven't got any relief and the problem is still persisting. Two months back, I did a full body checkup and everything was normal except for my ldl cholesterol. Though I started cycling after that till this problem started. Could anyone guide me please.
