My baby girl is now two years old. When she was born her tummy had a bit bulging umbilical cord which led doctor suspicious about Hernia which was ruled out after testing at birth level. However her stomach after two years has the same problem that her umbilical cord area is still outside and not inside. Please help me to know that is this worrisome and Shud I consult to any pediatrician or child specialist or should I ignore it?

Hello, Lybrate user, It's a normal appearance in an infant which will be set right in during course of time of 3/4 months. It can very well be treated in homoeopathy, if remains unset. You need to send an image of umbilical cord of your child to begin medication to get it set right. Tk care.
