There are multiple options available for preventing pregnancy, best for you can be an IUCD, which is a non harmonal device fixed inside the uterus, and is free from multiple side-effects which normally OCPs, rods, injections have, as they are all harmonals which causes side-effects and are not advised beyond three to six months usage. Otherwise condoms and following safe days method can help provided your partner is ok with it and you have regular periods of 28 or 30 days cycle.

For nulliparous woman (not having any issue) ideally barrier contraceptives are best like condoms. If you are not comfortable with barrier contraceptive than OCP is second option. OCP is safe and can be taken as long as you desire. IUCD should be avoided in nulliparous woman because of the risk of infection and tubal blockage.
