Hi, I am 30 years old, got married 3.8 years back. Within 4 months of our marriage, we met with accident where my wife seriously injured with bone broken. She was operated with rod and plate in the leg. Since then I feel like much depressed, more pain below knee backside, fatigue, can not able to concentrate on things. Very urge for Sex, but couldn't make intercourse due to leg pain and no erection for long time. So tried for masturbation, but not felt better after that also. Please suggest what disease I have or what I have to do stay pain free and happy.

Actually, there are a few aspects to this situation. Firstly, a kind of guilt often operates in conscious/ subconscious mind after this kind of accidents especially where there are significant difference in the damage suffered by the victims. This guilt often gives rise to anxiety which in turn manifests in various bodily symptoms. Next, if you can attain erection during masturbation then no damage presumed to your genital. Your problem to attain erection during intercourse could be addressed during treatment. But if you have problem in having erection even during masturbation then you need to see Urologist first. As such you need to consult Psychiatrist, preferably along with your spouse. You need treatment both in form of medicine and behavioural intervention.
