Hello Lybrate User, Many people suffer from dark circles under the eyes, it is embarrassing and make you look older than you are. Oversleeping and lack of sleep, can cause dark circles. Stress, eczema, allergies, iron deficiencies are other causes. Excessive smoking or drinking alcohol, coffee and use of cocaine, can cause under eye circles. The most common cause of dark circles is anemia (less Hb) and inadequate sleep. Try to avoid direct sun rays, use moisturizer and sun screen lotion with spf30. Avoid night watching. Limit your exposure to electronic gadgets such as TV, laptop,mobile etc. Your meals should b rich in vitamin a and E. Take adequate sleep for 7-8 hrs. Cucumber, potato,aloe vera are good when used as a pack. 1 table spoon honey daily has very good results. Investigate for anemia if it is there.
