I'm diabetic patient ,I'm using metformin 500 mg one at night. Morning having 1 spoon of methi and cinnamon powder. 5 badam and 1 boil egg. Afternoon 1 bowl of curd rice. Night 2 chapati with chicken curry or Green leaf. Whole you keep walking and having 8 glass of water. But still I found my fasting is 125. My aim is too get below 100. And I'm facing digestion problem. What ever I eat I feel struck in my chest.

Hello sir. Evrythng you follow r absolutely good. Congrats for keeping the rate @ control. 125 s not tat much high. The normal being < 120. U can take egg once in a week. I prefer taking green leafy veg@ afternoon. Take less amount of rice n increase the amount of veggies in your meals. Take plenty of water do not restrict urself to 8 glasses. Take buttermilk, lemon juice wid salt. U can include fruits like guava, apple, etc these hav good glucose control n also aids you in the digestion. Follow this for 2 months hope you get good resulta. Check your 2 hours post dinner blood sugar .If it is normal than your night medicine (metformin) needs to be changed.
