I have to undergo hip replacement surgery for both hips because of AVN. I am confused about post replacement scenario. Will I be able to perform things that I can't do right now. Will I be able to Stand up instantly from chair, will I be able to pick the coin fallen on floor, or can I sit on floor?

- pre surgery and post surgery both includes exercises to strengthen your hip, knee muscles. - standing instanstly will not be possible just after surgery, it takes time depending upon your muscle strength. - there strengthening exercises withweight cuff or theraband. - your physio will set goals to accomplish your adls within time limit. So kindly fix your appointment for your body muscles assesment.
