Hello dr, my mother who is 65 years old, is suffering from muscle tear in right hand shoulder. Dr. Has recommended me to go for operations. With mri report one Dr. Suggest the operation with anchor screw is better and another Dr. Is suggest the stitching on bone is better. Now I am little bit confused, which one to go and what are the chances of getting 100% results? is there any non surgical treatment which will give better results? mri report stated" high grade near complete tear of the supraspinatus tendon with retraction about 1.9 cm. The retracted tendon lies superior to the humeral head. Mild atrophy of the muscle seen. Intermediate grade partial thickness tear of the supraspinatus tendon. Mild atrophy pf the muscle seen. Infraspinatus tendinosis. Mild degenerative changes in the acromioclavicular joint reveals. Two inferior acromial spurs seen indenting the supraspinatus tendon. Subacromial and subdetloid bursitis. Mild fluid in the subcoracoid bursa" she is not having diabetes or bp issues and not having history related to any illness. Your valuable response is highly appreciated regards, ajit kenjale.

Hi It will be good if you visit orthopaedic surgeon personally for surgery options. And for non Surgical treatment kindly consult physiotherapist with reports. Best wishes.
