If your wife is not diabetic then no problem. It may happen sometimes the offspring have genes and may present as diabetes in future as it is hereditary disorder you may consult homeopathic doctor for this because only homeopathy has the power to alter genes even during conception period.

Thanks for your question. If one of the parent is diabetic, there is 50% chances of the new born acquiring diabetes. But there are certain genetic tests available to know the predisposition of chronic metabolic conditions such as diabetes, obesity, hypertension and cardiovascular diseases. You can get those tests done for your child and take preventive steps. But this is possible only after the child is born. Fortunately, you can overcome from your offspring getting diabetes by following appropriate lifestyle management.

Hello, Ensure your wife is not putting on piles of weight (ideally 12 to 13 kgs throughout the pregnancy is acceptable) as that would not be healthy for the growing baby .Keep a track on the food habits even once your baby is born. Test for gestational diabetes should be done in 2 trimester. The baby runs at a high risk if either of the parent is diabetic, but you can always scale down on chances by getting more aware and disciplined with your lifestyle. Good luck.

There is no problem for your baby... You seem to have Type 2 Diabetes which occurs due to poor lifestyle and excessive eating/drinking... Please change your lifestyle and food habits. ... Please make permanent changes and live healthy... When the child comes into your home... s/he should look upto you as a role model for health...Your child will not inherit Diabetes genetically... but s/he may contract Diabetes in youth if s/he continues unhealthy lifestyle.
