I am 63 healthy male. I have been doing cardio such as cycling, tread-mill, push up and other weight exercises at gym for over a decade with out any side effects. Does lifting of legs or squats lead to back pain?

Be careful with exercise so as to not put extra stress on any part of body, simply doing brisk walk for 30 minutes a day, drinking cow's milk before sleep and being a strict vegetarian helps against many difficulties

If you lift weights in wrong posture or if you don't wear weight lifting belt especially while doing squats, you ate likely to injure your back and have back pain. Otherwise ,if you are careful about posture, warm up properly and wear belt then there is no problem.
