Hello lybrate-user, Since it is the pressure or recurrent friction of your ill-fitting footwear that causes the pain in Bunion, some Bunion shields or pads can be used to reduce pressure on the bunion. Local cold-pack application is sometimes helpful, as well. Hot fomentation is another home remedy. Local application of anti-inflammatory gel may help. Pain killer tablets with Anti-inflammatory properties may also be helpful but need to be taken under supervision for dosage & duration of therapy. Hope this helps or else you v]can consult me in private. Stay blessed & Live Life More!
