My aunt is 53 years old. She is a diabetic patient. Had undergone hysterectomy too. Now after an abdomen scan, her liver is showing mild fatty change. What is the solution? Is it an emergency? Please reply doctors.

Hello. I understand your concern about your aunt. Being A Diabetologist I would like to tell you that Mild Fatty changes in liver is very common in Diabetic patients. Here I assure you not to panic for this condition, as mild fatty liver won't cause any major health problems but you need to take care of if so that I may not increase. In diabetes Lipid levels (Fat in blood) usually increases more rapidly as compared to Non Diabetic patients. Avoid Oily Fatty food, Include Salad in diet and atleast 30 mins of Leasure walking daily.
