By now you must have started treatment with thyroxine tablets in dosage as advised by your doctor. Foods to be avoided in hypothyroidism are soya beans, corn, canola, saffllower, flax seed & canola oil, cauliflower, cabbage, tapioca, mustard, peanuts, rapseeds, turnip, sweet potatoes, brussels sprouts, eggs red meat, pears, strawberries, peaches etc. You should take iodised salt, sea foods, salt water fish, celtic sea salt, whole unrefined grains, dairy products, garlic & onions.
