Mr. lybrate-user, If you have hypothyroidism then it is essential to get it treated with appropriate dose of thyroxine. Gluten allergy is fairly common condition, but it is not easy to identify whether one has gluten intolerance. Tests are rather inconclusive. It is usually seen co-existing and aggravating autoimmune thyroid condition like Hashimoto's Thyroiditis (HT). HT also leads to hypothyroidism. Gluten intolerance is specially important if you have HT's disease. Thanks.
