If a person has stopped breathing but her heart is still warm, and after confirming with a doctor, she is declared as dead, after that her body is sent to the freezer, the next day when we arrived for collecting her, at that point her mouth was wide open. So when did she died? At home or im the freezer? Please I beg you, give me the correct answer.

Hi, Doctor declared dead, that means heart must have been stopped. It's very unlikely that heart restart on its own. Opening of mouth and other movement like limb movement may occur in post mortem period. Mostly due to rigor mortis or may be during handling the movement may occur, that doesn't mean that patient was alive before putting into freezer.

Opening of the mouth is a post death event after deatrh many muscles loosens up, thiis loosening can cause relaxation of muscles of jaws, this relaxation can lead to opening of the mouth.
