Hi Your blood sugar levels are very high. There is no oil which is very safe for diabetes. Any oil taken in excess will harm the body. I would suggest you to change your oil every month so that you get the benefits of all oil. Do not heat olive oil as you lose the benefits of the oil, add it to your vegetable salads or dips. Losing 10% of your weight itself will help you in reducing blood sugars. Make sure you do not take more than half a litre of oil per month. Avoid fried foods, eat small meals every 2-3 hours, do not take red meat instead opt for chicken without skin and fish mostly in curried forms. Always snack on fruits and vegetables, channa, sprouts. Drink lots of water. Exercise atleast 30 min a day for atleast 5 days a week. Also you may need dose adjustment of your medications.
