I am a 45 year old woman and suddenly developed pain in my left shoulder and left arm while sleeping leading to numbness in left hand index finger. Mri report says degenerative cervical spondylitis. I am getting physiotherapy done from a highly qualified person but pain still persists. I work online from home and have to put in 6-8 hours every day. Should I start working, hope this does not aggravate.

You should continue with intensive physical therapy, medications for neuropathic symptoms like gabapentin, pregabalin etc, tens as a modality of control of radiating pain.
