Hi, My HSG report says that, Both the tubes are seen, shows poor peritoneal spill. What dose it mean?

Hi, Normally the dye goes into the two tubes separately from the uterus, and then comes out through the ends of the tubes and spills freely into the belly (intraperitoneal space). Hence if there is'poor' spillage and both tubes are seen, that means there may be incomplete obstruction somewhere in the tubes, but they are not completely blocked. So fertility should be possible. However you may show the report to a gynaecologist.
