Dear Lybrateuser, - To reduce triglyceride level you have to stop smoking, consuming alcohol, reduce your weight, take some dietary precautions - your diet should consist of fibrous foods like vegetables, fruits, beans, legumes, wholegrains like whole wheat, brown rice, oats, corn, lean meats, low fat dairy, nuts & seeds - avoid fried, processed & sugar containing foods - do regular exercises like walking, jogging, swimming for 30-40 min, do moderate weight lifting at least twice a week, do yoga & deep breathing for 5-10 min daily in the morning - to reduce weight take a proper diet plan, consult a dietician for the same - monitor levels regularly.
