I am 42 years male having bad breath from about 10 years i and consulted to many doctors, such as gastro neurologist, Dentist, ENT, Neurologist, and so many investigation has been done such as endo escopy ,CT scan brain and ENT part, electro incephalogram. neither any thing find out nor I got relief from this problem. Please suggest me.

lybrate-user Hi your bad breadh problem can be called as Halitosis. It caused by dental problem, Oral ulcer .It could be due to due to the presence of halotosis producing bacteria. Odor are produced mainly due to breakdown of of certain of protein followed by further breakdown of aminoacids to produce detectble foul gases e, g breakdown of cystein and methionin produces hydrogen sulfide and methl mercaptin respectively. Thes are pathological causes. But some are suffering from Dellusinal halotosis who have highly concern of having bad breadth.
