Hello Doctor, I am 25 years old Indian. I am planning to study in New Zealand. But I have TB history 1 year ago. I took 6 months medication and declared cured by the Government physician. But I fear this will put me in trouble at the time of medical for New Zealand visa. Please reply. Thank you.

Yes, if xray chest shows some post treatment fibrotic lession and nothing could be done to remove it.

It will not cause any problem since it is cured after treatment. Do tests like sputum for AFB/X Ray chest. If it is negative you will not have any problem. Carry a medical certificate from chest physician.
