Hi .Appreciate your effort to seek help! It must be very difficult situation for you to be in. You have mentioned that you were very bright in studies and were scoring really well but from past 2 years you seem to be getting anxious while studying and thats interfering with the study process. Please try to remember what happened 2 years back that could have influenced you. What career have you chosen/ thought of? Also are you studying the subjects that you are interested in and which will help you in fulfilling your career goal? Are you under any kind of external pressure to perform or high expectations from others? Are people around you anxious about your studies too? Answer these questions for yourself and see if you can understand what's happening. If you are unable to help yourself then you can approach your school counsellor or any counsellor outside to share whats bothering you and gain awareness. Talking to your parents may also help if theres room for expressing your difficulties. For your reducing your anxiety try to set small study goals for yourself and ensure you complete them. You can learn memorising techniques. Understanding the concepts will provide better results. When you make study goals, ensure they are doable and specific. Between your study times do have very short intervals to refresh/relax yourself. You can do mindful breathing (couple of slow deep breaths with focus on breathing) to calm yourself down when you sense anxiety setting in. Eat well balanced food divided into 6 small meals, do some exercise and sleep well. Also focus on what you talk to yourself. Keeping your self-talk positive and motivational is important to keep anxiety away. Looking into what really is triggering the anxiety will be helpful. Hope this helps. If not then surely seek counselling. All the best!

If you want better results while studying, revision is the key. Repeated revision consolidates the information in the brain and helps to retain the information. Other than that, try a daily exercise of recalling your entire day in as much detail as possible before you sleep. Initially only important or superficial details are recalled, but with practice minor details can also be recalled. Be more organized; make lists. Use acronyms and mnemonic devices to help you remember. Take 45 minute slots followed by a 5-15 minute break. Eat and at proper times. Drink plenty of water. Find time for exercise or meditation. Keep time for proper revision at end of study session. Revise before you sleep.
