My dad 58, is having high acidity from past some days. Dr. has given some medicines but once medicine is completed acidity reoccurs. What care should be taken for this to get cured and which food he should eat and which to avoid?

If you have a problem in your gastrointestinal system, one of the first remedies you should always try is yogurt. Most of the issues in the gut have to do with a bacterial imbalance, too many or too few. Yogurt contains probiotics that stimulate the cultivation of beneficial bacteria, which will help keep the right levels of acid in the stomach, and prevent conditions like high acidity, and avoid spicy food and should have ginger tea daily and do consult a homeopath for complete cure.
