Thank you for the query. Commonest cause of an isolated heal pain is a calcaneal spur (a small bony projection from the heel). An X ray can help in the diagnosis. You can get some blood tests done for uric acid and calcium levels. Simple pain killers like paracetamol may be helpful. If calcium is low you can take calcium supplements. Soft soled shoes help in calcaneal spur. If the problem is very nagging you may visit a rheumatologist or orthopaedic surgeon. Regards.
