Hello doctor my mom is 48 years old. She suffered from dengue in the month of September. And after around a month she got headache, fever and pain in whole body which she got tested for chickengunia but it was negative and Dr. said that it is like dengue only. And from then she has a permanent pain in her whole body especially in her joints. Back of shoulders ,arms, chest. Her body becomes stiff when she sleeps and she's not able to get up. And when she sits she's not able to stand, even there's pain in her toes. She consulted a Dr. he gave several multivitamins and said it' will be fine after her menopause but she has extreme pain which is unbearable. And today she's getting pain in her left side of chest. She's also consulting a physiotherapist from past 2 days. Pls help.

No details about investigations and medications. Symptoms are more in line with Chikangunya, which requires regular but safe pain killers. In view of long duration she should see a consulting Physician for proper clinical examination, related thorough investigations, diagnosis and further management.
