I have phimosis and can't retract my foreskin normally. I don't want to get circumcised. I want to retain my foreskin. Is there any surgery that can widen and retain my foreskin.

Surgery is the choice since you r 25 years old.

No, medically necessary circumcision is the only option and don't panic as this is a simple procedure and you make it a point that even after continuous sex for some time your fore skin will never retract so don't think that your fore skin will be helpful and can be removed to avoid this problem.

Hi lybrate-user, If you do not want to get circumcised and want to retain foreskin then you can practice forcefully pulling back your foreskin repeatedly as far behind as you can endure pain. Practice of this method for about 3 months streches the elastic foreskin and you may not be required to do circumcision. Dorsal slit is minimal surgery that can be opted for if you do not want full circumcision.

You can try using dilators of different sizes. If no improvement, consult a urologist.

Dear Lybrate user. Phimosis is a congenital narrowing of the opening of the foreskin so that it cannot be retracted. Phimosis is a very common problem. In most of the cases you can clear the problem yourself. Apply oil on your foreskin and on the glans. Move the foreskin forward and back slowly without hurting you much. Because the oil is lubricant, it will be easier than without oil. Do this forward and back movement 20 times several times in a day. Repeat the same every day for around one month. You will get the elasticity and you will be able to retract the foreskin completely. Take care.
