I am a doctor myself .25 years female. Have completed mbbs preparing for md/ms exam. But I am really not able to decide what should I do. I am badly frustrated with the situation. I have to do pg but my preparation is not good. I wanna do job also but then I think I have to study. I am not able to decide what I need to do. Pls help me out with this. I am badly frustrated depressed.

Dear Lybrate User. Nice of you to write and state the issues you are facing it shows that you do want a resolution. Take some time out for your self and note down about what you want to do with your life. Make a list of short term and long term goals. Once you have made this re look at your situation objectively. Do also consult a few friends and colleagues and ask for suggestions. Decide about and build a concrete action plan to achieve your objectives. Life life day to day and in the moment make use of all the opportunities than come your way, look at obstacles as opportunities to learn something new. Most of the young doctors face this and I cannot blame you. You need to take a positive attitude and decide your priorities like if it is a must to work now or go for a coaching to get admission. If you do not do now as time goes on it will be more difficult to get admission and more family problems will interfere. Or go for a part time work and go for coaching also.
