My lo is 2 years old one. I would like to know if I could feed him oats. I have heard so much that it would reduce weight when cooked with milk and increase weight when cooked with water. What's is the true fact behind this and what type of oats can I give him? Thankyou in advance.

Hello lybrate user, Yes , there's no harm in giving your little one oats. In fact he should be given everything that is homemade but in small quatities.Having simple oats helps in reducing weight as it contains both fibre and protein which will keep you full for a long time. If you add milk, sugar, nuts, cream, fruits in it, it's calories will increase which will help in increasing your weight.
